Best U.S. National Parks

Best U.S. National Parks

The United States has so many diverse destinations.

The option to go from beach to desert to snowy mountains all in one day shows how much variety we really have in our own backyard.

Are you tired of sitting around?

Here are the places I believe are totally worth the road trip.

Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon is a mile deep, 277 miles long and 18 miles wide making it larger than the state of Rhode Island!

This destination is known for its whitewater rafting as well as superb hiking.

When we were on our road trip I had no clue what was in store but I could tell we were reaching Grand Canyon when I saw the colors of the rocks and formations.

I was so excited and it was so breathtaking to see in person.

Yosemite

Yosemite is another breathtaking destination.

This is a perfect destination for hiking, rock climbing and just taking in all the nature including the enormous waterfalls.

I felt like a tiny little ant inside the park as the giant mountains towered over everything.

Yellowstone

America's first national park, Yellowstone, provides plenty of activities for nature lovers!

Enjoy the hot springs to the steaming geysers to hiking trails that stretch hundreds of miles.

Not only that but the park is a haven for wildlife including wolves, bison and grizzly bears.

There really is so much to see whether its hiking or wildlife watching.

Glacier National Park

Glaciers are the main reason many tourists visit Glacier national park, but it has over 700 lakes, multiple waterfalls and not to mention mountain ranges.

During the summer months, it is a perfect spot to fish or canoe.

During the snowy months, many come for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

The wildlife in this park is also worth the trip as tourists frequently spot moose, elk and bears.

No matter which destination you pick, your sure to enjoy the breathtaking views.

Something about being surrounded by nature really brightens my day.

My advice take a break from technology and reconnect with nature.
